GM RECALL | VIDEO COLLECTION

|
GM is recalling more than 1.6 million cars, including the 2005-2007 Chevy Cobalt, 2006-2007 Pontiac Solstice and 2003-2007 Saturn Ion.

Hilliard Law, a Texas law firm, filed a class-action suit “the first in the nation” against General Motors on behalf of victims, families and survivors of those injured or killed in crashes caused by a faulty ignition switch in eight GM models. It is believed that over 300 deaths have occurred because of the problem, which GM admits it has known about since 2004.

Bob Hilliard of Hilliard Law is lead attorney in the action. He had this to say about the situation and the suit:

“Everyone who owns one of these recalled vehicles needs to park it now! When this defect occurs, the power steering will not work, the power brakes will not work, and the airbags will not deploy! Driving a recalled GM vehicle is like carrying a stick of dynamite with a slow-burning fuse. When it goes off it will be sudden, violent and deadly.”
