Rooted in Corpus Christi, Inspired by Community: Hilliard Law Partners with Mural Fest
Corpus Christi, TX — May 29, 2025 — Hilliard Law is proud to announce its participation in the Downtown Management District of Corpus Christi's annual Mural Fest, in collaboration with celebrated muralist Mandi Caskey. The event, known for transforming the city's landscape into a vibrant tapestry of art, showcases national talent while revitalizing public spaces.
This year, Caskey is bringing her signature style—vivid, bold, and deeply narrative—to the exterior of the historic Hilliard Building on Shoreline Terrace. Currently undergoing restoration and renovation, the building’s refreshed exterior will now include a striking mural that complements its architectural revival and adds a new layer to its storied past.
Mandi Caskey, also known as Miss Birdy, is recognized for her ability to weave visual stories into large-scale murals that resonate with communities. With works featured across the country, her art is both thought-provoking and deeply connected to the spaces it inhabits.
“It seemed appropriate. As trial lawyers, we are story tellers and this grand old lady, The Hilliard Building, around since 1949, has quite the story--” said Bob Hilliard, founder of Hilliard Law. “Mandi’s mural is adding a powerful chapter to a iconic City Landmark—not just to the building, but to the story of Hilliard Law in Corpus Christi, symbolic of where we’ve been and where we’re going.”
As the mural begins to take shape, the public is encouraged to drive by Hilliard Law Water Street side, to watch the progress unfold. It’s a unique opportunity to witness a moment of art history in the making, right in the heart of downtown Corpus Christi.
