Hilliard Center
As of September 1, 2025, one of Corpus Christi’s most iconic venues carries a new name: Hilliard Center.
Previously known as the American Bank Center, this vibrant venue has long served as the heart of the Coastal Bend’s entertainment, sports, and culture. As part of a long-standing commitment to Corpus Christi, the Hilliard family and Hilliard Law are proud to have their name on a venue that continues to bring the community together.
“Though our law practice is both local and national, Corpus Christi has and will always be home.” — Bob Hilliard, Founding Partner
This naming rights partnership is about more than signage — it’s about legacy. Bob Hilliard began his legal career here in 1983 with a single office, an old Impala, and a commitment to justice. Over four decades later, Hilliard Law has grown into a nationally recognized trial firm with deep Texas roots and a multi-generational team of attorneys and staff who continue to call the Coastal Bend home.
For the Hilliard family, putting their name on a place where the community gathers — to celebrate, perform, compete, and connect — is a natural extension of their lifelong commitment to Corpus Christi.
A World-Class Venue for a World-Class City

Our Name Is on the Doors — And in the Community
Just blocks away from the arena, theHilliard Building houses the firm’s offices in a fully restored six-story historic structure originally built in 1948. From its renovation to its daily operations, it stands as another example of the firm’s investment in Corpus Christi’s future — and a reminder of its history.
Together, the Hilliard Center and Hilliard Building reflect a simple truth: Corpus Christi isn’t just where we work. It’s who we are.
