Brennon Mitchell

Attorney

Brennon Mitchell is a trial attorney who brings extensive courtroom experience and a relentless advocacy style to his civil litigation practice at Hilliard Law. After building his career in high-stakes criminal defense, Mr. Mitchell joined the firm to focus on complex civil cases, where his trial-tested instincts and command of the courtroom continue to serve his clients.

Before joining Hilliard Law, Mr. Mitchell led his own firm, trying and defending serious cases across Texas. His background in criminal defense—where clients’ freedom and futures are on the line—shaped him into a precise, strategic litigator who is comfortable handling pressure, dissecting evidence, and advocating decisively before judges and juries.

Mr. Mitchell’s experience includes managing cases involving complex evidentiary issues, expert testimony, and technical forensic analysis. In 2024, he earned the American Chemical Society–Chemistry and the Law (ACS-CHAL) Forensic Lawyer-Scientist designation—one of the highest scientific credentials available to attorneys. This advanced training provides him with a unique ability to analyze scientific evidence, challenge expert conclusions, and communicate technical concepts clearly and persuasively in the courtroom.

At Hilliard Law, Mr. Mitchell applies his trial experience to a range of civil matters, including personal injury and product liability litigation. His approach is direct, disciplined, and focused on results—preparing every case with the expectation that it will be tried.

Mr. Mitchell earned his Juris Doctor from Texas A&M University School of Law and was admitted to practice law in Texas in 2016.

He has been recognized for his professional excellence, including selection to Super Lawyers Rising Stars (2026) and designation as a TCDLA DWI Scholar (2021).

Outside of his practice, Mr. Mitchell enjoys golfing and spending time hunting and fishing.
